It is interesting to compare today’s market with where we were a year ago. Would we have predicted this activity in a pandemic? Maui sales activity is up in March 2021. Home sales are up 46% and condo sales up 43% from last year.

The median sales price has also risen in March 2021, with the home price up 14% to $986,000 and the condo price up 15% to $646,350 from last year.

The caveat is, there is a wide range of sale prices. High end sales drive up the average price. So, it is always best to check with our realty team for actual comparable sales for any property you are considering.

Low interest rates will offset some of the increase in price for homebuyers. It remains a very strong time to sell.
